Currently am almost finished with adding my VSTs to the Vocals, and as i work more and more on making to sound like how am imaging it to Sound, am starting to think that i should re-record the Vocals or even change the Singer, because of the following reasons :
1 – more takes are needed for the chorus.
2 – Verse vocals are not loud enough in the beginning of every verse (1st two bars of every verse).
3 – the errors need a lot more time to be treated by filters and sometimes my compressor cant hit the vocals right unless i separate the 1st two bars on a seperate channel and compress them on their own so that it doesn’t effect how the 2nd bars are compressed.
4 – i feel like the Singer can do better
5 – am using way too many effects to make it sound better, and in my opinion, most of these effects can be removed if we re-record and get it right this time which would make it sound better than the current version of the recording with the effects
it currently Sounds like this ( verse 1+ pre-chorus+ chorus) : https://picosong.com/whALA/
and this is how it sounds with any effects : https://picosong.com/whAVw/
Since we have a 1 week break il re-record it (using Logic this time to get more familiar with it) just to have a separate version and use that one before we reach the deadline of the production phase.

The overall sound is good. You’ve done a good job getting a vocal sound that works. I think the pumping is a bit much and somewhat distracting from lead.

thank you professor, i worked more on it and it currently sounds smoother and more with the instrumental(i don’t know how to describe it professionally) , i think it sounds better now , and its less pumping i made the vocals smoother, i also noticed i huge flaw in my EQ, i had my high-pass set from 50H, i put it on 150 and now it sounds way better specially in the 1st Two bars 😀

Split audio tracks that have amplitude differences and use clip gain to balance them. You can always lower them again in the mix, but they will sound better
